Extensive Experience in Dealing with Foreign Governments with International Transboundary Water Resources Analysis

I have worked extensively with USACE Headquarters Interagency and International (HQ-IIS), US Aid for International Development (USAID), and U.S. State Department on working with foreign governments on developing and improving their technical water resources capabilities
Afghanistan – As an advisor to Ministry of Water and Power – Shared Kabul River with Pakistan. Worked with Minister on engineering aspects required to negotiate with Pakistan Government on sharing basic water data, simulation modelling, and shared benefits
Pakistan – As an advisor to State Department, worked with Pakistan’s Indus Water Commission on potential modelling methods to apply to the Indus River in support of the Indus Water Treaty between Pakistan and India
Brazil – Assisted Brazil’s National Water Agency on incorporating latest water management computational techniques for reservoir operations in anticipation for Brazil working with its neighbors of Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Bolivia on shared LaPlata-Parana River Basin
